City suspends backflow prevention program for residential irrigation systems

Today the City of Fort Lauderdale is suspending the backflow prevention program for residential irrigation systems until further notice. The City is exploring the possibility of grandfathering some residential irrigation systems as well as reviewing and resolving inconsistent determinations from various state agencies.
