Planning Ahead: Holiday Sanitation Schedule

 

Thanksgiving Day – The City will provide all curbside collections which include trash, yard waste and recycling on Thanksgiving Day, November 22, 2018.

Bulk customers serviced the 4th Thursday of the month will be serviced Thursday, November 29, 2018.

Bulk customers normally serviced the 4th Friday of the month, November 23, 2018 will be serviced Friday, November 30, 2018.

Christmas Day – There will be no curbside cart collections which include garbage, yard waste and recycling as well as bulk collections on Christmas, December 25, 2018.

There will be no make-up day for curbside cart collections, including garbage, yard waste and recycling. Curbside cart collection customers normally serviced on Tuesday’s will resume scheduled service Friday, December 28, 2018.

Bulk customers serviced the 4th Tuesday of the month will be serviced on Monday, December 31, 2018. Fort Lauderdale residents may place holiday trees curbside for pickup on scheduled yard waste collection days.

The free service begins the week of December 31st and concludes on January 12th. This is an easy, eco-friendly method for disposal of fresh holiday trees.

New Year’s Day – No service interruptions on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2019.

Collection will remain on schedule for all curbside cart collections which includes garbage, yard waste, recycling as well as bulk collections.
