Volunteers Needed:
Imperial Point Civic association is looking for volunteers to assist the City of Fort Lauderdale in conducting a visual audit of our Recycle (blue) cans on October 14th, October 28th and November 4th from (7:15 am - 10:15 am). As a reminder, Imperial Point gets paid by the City of Fort Lauderdale for your efforts which helps to keep our neighborhood beautiful. Notice of Upcoming Recycle Audit:
The City of Fort Lauderdale will conducting an inspection of our Recycle Cans beginning Monday October 14th followed by re-inspection dates of October 28th and November 4th respectively. The inspection will occur between the hours of 7:15 am - 10:15 am). If your can contains greater than 10% contamination, it will be tagged (contamination identified) and will not be serviced. You will need to correct the contamination prior to the next inspection date. I've attached two documents that should help you during this process. Blue recycling cart inspections will be completed by City employees and Green Your Routine Volunteers. Both will be uniformed in yellow high visibility, reflective vests.
