Garlic Lime Skillet Chicken

This Garlic Lime Skillet Chicken is a simple and easy dinner idea that will get a tasty dinner on the table fast. Serves six.


  • 6 boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice


  • In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, salt, paprika, pepper, cayenne pepper, and parsley. Sprinkle generously over chicken thighs.
  • Heat butter and olive oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken until golden brown 3 to 4 minutes per side.
  • Add minced garlic and lime juice. Continue cooking chicken until chicken is cooked through to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F, coating chicken with juices.
  • Serve hot with lime wedges or slices and chopped fresh parsley to garnish (optional).
