This Garlic Lime Skillet Chicken is a simple and easy dinner idea that will get a tasty dinner on the table fast. Serves six.
- 6 boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 3 tablespoons lime juice
In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, salt, paprika, pepper, cayenne pepper, and parsley. Sprinkle generously over chicken thighs.
Heat butter and olive oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken until golden brown 3 to 4 minutes per side.
Add minced garlic and lime juice. Continue cooking chicken until chicken is cooked through to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F, coating chicken with juices.
Serve hot with lime wedges or slices and chopped fresh parsley to garnish (optional).
