2023 Winter in the Park Festival

Our 2023 "Winter In the Park" was an incredible success! Despite facing unexpected challenges, this signature event once again united our neighborhood in a festive holiday spirit.

Dottie Mancini Park's closure on December 7th, due to lease negotiations between the City and Broward Health, didn't deter the Imperial Point Civic Association. Led by President Betty Shelley, our association has passionately advocated for the park's reopening. With support from local political leaders, we successfully secured permission to host the event. We continue to advocate for the permanant reopening for all Families to enjoy on a daily basis.

Then, Mother Nature had other plans, throwing us a curveball with severe weather, leading to rescheduling the event for December 20th. Yet, we adapted, showcasing the unwavering spirit of our association.

This achievement was made possible by President Betty Shelley's exceptional leadership and our dedicated Board of Directors. They've been the backbone behind this success, truly reflecting our neighborhood's spirit.

Heartfelt thanks go to every volunteer and supporter whose unwavering dedication turned challenges into opportunities, making our Winter in the Park festival not just possible, but extraordinary!
