Spring Fling 2025 @ Broward Health Imperial Point – aka “Dottie Mancini” Park

Our Spring Fling 2025 was held on Saturday April 12th and was well attended and enjoyed by all.

Our venue was back to the Broward Health Imperial Point, aka "Dottie Mancini" Park, this year after holding the event last year at our main entrance to Imperial Point on Imperial Point Drive, which is also a city of Fort Lauderdale Park.

This year we added a special event - a "Free" Bicycle Helmet Give-Away , provided by the Department of Transportation, University of Florida. Many took advantage of the program, causing us to run out of several sizes early.

Our special visitors were Mayor, Dean Trantalis and State Representative Chip LaMarca, FLPD Police Chief Bill Schultz, along with the EASTER BUNNY!

We had over 3000+ Easter Eggs stuffed with candy along with "Numbered" and "Golden" Eggs that qualified for special prizes for the hunters. The hunt was separated by age groups to give all a fair chance to find all the eggs they want.

We held a special Raffle for five beautiful Easter "Gift" baskets donated to the association by one of our great neighbors.

Our special Food vendor this year was "Playa Bowls" of Las Olas, a Health-minded chain serving bowls and smoothies featuring acai, pitaya, and coconut. They were delicious!

The Imperial Point Civic Association hosts three of these major family oriented events during the year: Spring Fling, Fall Harvest, and Winter in the Park. These events are great ways to meet your neighbors and local business sponsors. These events are FREE for paid members and family! Non-members are encouraged to attend and can join the organization while attending.
