Membership Director – Job Description

Responsible for recruiting new members, and retaining existing ones. Develop and lead membership drives, plans member events, and creates and implement outreach strategies in order to expand membership base or engage with existing members.

  • Contact/Welcome new residents to the neighborhood and solicit their membership.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote membership and attract new members.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with members.
  • Develop list of benefits, why join the organization.
  • Fostering sense of community. Join and volunteer your skills to the community.
  • Maintain regular communication with members, providing updates, soliciting feedback, and addressing concerns.
  • Maintain relationships with other neighborhood association membership coordinators in order to capitalize on their successful efforts.
