Fort Lauderdale “Make a Difference Day” this year will be Saturday, October 24th. This community-wide event offers a variety of volunteer opportunities, from residential painting and beach cleanups to decorating Little Free Libraries and supporting donation drives. The city encourages all the HOA's and Civic Associations to participate in this event. Imperial Point Volunteers typically participate in planting and sprucing up the front entrance (Imperial Point Drive Park/Garden along with our "Adopt A Street" on 62nd St. We will be looking for Volunteers to help us with this event The city gives credit at a Garden Center to purchase some plants. We also receive credit from the city for participating.
If you are interested please contact John Watt @ jwatt288@gmail.com or Betty Shelley @ bjshelley5@gmail.com
The emphasis is on beautification to make our main entrance look even better, giving it a fresh look!
Volunteers are who make this happen!
THANK YOU TO ALL!
