Subject: update on Dottie Mancini Park
To: Betty Shelley ([email protected]) <[email protected]>

Betty – Feel free to share this as appropriate. Mayor Trantalis asked the city manager during today’s City Commission meeting for an update on the status of Dottie Mancini Park. Following discussions between the city and Broward Health, Broward Health is finalizing terms and conditions for a short-term lease of the site with the city so we can reopen the park as soon as possible. The city and Broward Health will continue to explore long-term solutions that would allow us to keep the park open long term while finding other ways to meet the needs and goals of Broward Health.
